Remembering Dr. John Bryan 

John L. Bryan, PhD – affectionately known as “Prof” by the graduates of the University of Maryland Department of Fire Protection Engineering – died on Monday, October 13, 2014. Prof was 87 years old. He was the Department’s founder and first Chairman with approximately 600 graduates in his 37 years as our mentor and inspiration. Read More
